The CVS/pharmacy mobile app has been fully revamped, with a new interface and enhanced features that aim to offer customers easier access to tools for health management and shopping directly from their handheld devices.

"Our CVS/pharmacy Mobile app has gotten top marks from our customers, but we still constantly challenge ourselves to make it even easier, better and faster," Brian Tilzer, senior vice president and chief digital officer for CVS Health, said. "It's important to us and our customers that we deliver a personalized mobile shopping experience and extend access to our pharmacy services in a way that's seamless."

CVS/pharmacy’s goal was to improve the customer experience. The app allows users to shop and complete pharmacy errands from home, on the road or at their local CVS. Users can refill prescriptions, redeem coupons and rewards, and look for drug interactions.

ExtraCare members can store their cards on the app for easy access while shopping. Other updates include MinuteClinic, myWeekly Ad, photo printing and a pill identifier.

“These updates empower our users to quickly scroll to the features they are looking for and take advantage of all their CVS/pharmacy needs when, where and how they want. Refilling prescriptions, getting medication reminders and saving money on everyday health needs are now effortless and right at their fingertips, which ultimately helps our customers in meaningful ways on their path to better health," Tilzer said.
