Atlantic Information Services Inc. (AIS) on Tuesday announced that all 2014 data on the prescription drug benefit offerings of commercial health plans is available for full use in a fully interactive demo of AIS’s Rx Benefit Data.
Rx Benefit Data is a new online subscription database that allows subscribers to analyze out-of-pocket costs related to pharmacy benefits for all individual and small-group commercial plans on the market. The demo of Rx Benefit Data is available for free at http://aishealthdata.com/dashboard/rxb/demo/rxb.
Quick searches of Rx Benefit Data will let users view deductibles and prescription deductibles for all offerings in a selected market; find out which insurers are offering commercial plans in each state; compare prescription copay and coinsurance amounts, and view plans’ drug benefit costs sharing in and out of network, by mail and retail.
Researchers from AIS’s directory and databases division developed the subscription database. The user-friendly database was designed to rapidly retrieve the details of prescription drug benefit offerings of each insurer on and off public insurance exchanges. Benefit offerings can be sorted by plan name, plan type and metal tier, and for individual and small-group commercial plans.
The full version of the Rx Benefit Database has information on plans for the 2015 and 2014 plan years.
