ATECH's SmartCells to be featured at hospital conference

ATECH Inc., a Washington state manufacturer of the SmartCells cushioning technology, will be featured at the Spring Hospital conference in Orlando, Florida, today through Wednesday.

The anti-fatigue technology is used to meet the needs of pharmacy and health care workers by relieving muscular fatigue and therefore increasing efficiency and productivity. The SmartCells cushioning technology features a rubber surface layer integrated with an underlying array of cylindrical rubber cells that soften in response to surface pressure to deliver the highest fatigue relief.

A key feature of SmartCells anti-fatigue technology is the use of nonporous rubber that will not absorb liquid, unlike typical foam solutions, making it ideal for environments where infection control is important.

“SmartCells is especially adaptive to the pharmacy and health care market where providers spend extended periods of time on their feet which can significantly impact the longevity of their careers,” SATECH President Bryce Betteridge said.

SmartCells anti-fatigue mats and flooring are also beneficial for manufacturing, banking, customer service, retail, airlines, stand-up desks and in-home use. SmartCells Insoles come in three styles: a standard flat style, for use with or without orthotics, and therapeutic and active orthotic styles that provide additional arch and heel support
