CSI and UHC partner to improve payer strategies

CSI Specialty Group yesterday announced a partnership with UHC Pharmacy Program to support strategic planning for payer contracting.

“We are thrilled with the opportunity to collaborate with UHC and create unique payer solutions that will benefit all parties involved," CSI Specialty Group CEO Suzette DiMascio said. CSI will help UHC Specialty Pharmacy Program develop and implement payer strategies for advance care models provided by integrated delivery networks and academic medicals centers.

The UHC Specialty Pharmacy Program, introduced in 2014, is designed to improve access to specialty medications for participating hospitals and their patients. The UHC Specialty Pharmacy Program helps deliver a range of care to improve patient outcomes, reduce delays in initiating new therapies, and help meet the needs of academic medical centers and their associated organizations across the nation.
