Leading specialty prescription, over-the-counter pharmaceutical and medical supply distributor ScripsAmerica Inc. has appointed Andy Triggs to its board of directors.
Triggs comes to the board from a leading compounding pharmacy, where he is the current operations manager. Additionally, he is an Army weteran who was honored with a Bronze Star for valor in Afghanistan.
"Andy brings valuable compounding pharmacy industry experience to our Board of Directors," ScripsAmerica Chief Executive Officer Bob Schneiderman said. "In addition, as a decorated combat veteran, he has demonstrated the leadership skills that make him an ideal part of our team. Triggs has been a compounding pharmacist for almost 10 years. He is well-versed in compliance with both state and federal compounding pharmacy laws and has overseen pharmacy organizations that serve 3,500 patients in 43 states, He also has extensive knowledge of pharmacy licensing in several states, and his military career has given him experience in training duties and responsibilities in the administrative arena.
