MD Insider forms advisory board

MD Insider announced on Tuesday that it has formed a Customer Advisory Board to provide feedback on its services from clients.

Along with offered services, the advisory board will provide feedback on the company's business strategy and offer analysis on consumer and industry trends.

"The Customer Advisory Board is here to provide insight and outside-in thinking into what our customers want and need in the area of healthcare transparency both today and in the future," MD Insider Chief Executive Officer David Norris said. "It allows us to stay closely connected with our customers to ensure that we understand their challenges, needs and future plans. The board members' first-hand knowledge of diverse executive perspectives on the industry and proven strategic thinking enable us to offer the best possible service to customers and bring something unique and transformational to the health care market."

The company offers a health care date platform that has been shown to reduce care costs on employers. According to the company, forming the advisory board will open up transparency with regard to physician performance. The advisory board consists of executive and other high ranking business officials from companies including: DirecTV, Starwood Hotels, Expedia, Stages Stores and United Surgical Partners.

"These executives' business acumen will foster continuous refinement of MD Insider's strategic direction metrics for defining success and strategies for revenue growth," MD Insider Executive Chairman Jason Ader said.
