Cetaphil named top pharmacist-recommended therapeutic skin cleanser

Pharmacy Times and U.S. News & World Report honored Cetaphil as the No. 1 Pharmacist Recommended brand in the Therapeutic Skin Care Cleansers category for the third year in a row, Cetaphil said on Thursday.

The award was announced online and appeared in the June issue of Pharmacy Times.
"Cetaphil is the No. 1 dermatologist-recommended brand of cleansers and moisturizers, and winning this pharmacist recognition year over year further validates the brand's importance among health care providers," Jeannette Chantalat, Cetaphil's associate director, said.

Pharmacy Times and U.S. News & World Report said that over 750,000 pharmacist recommendations are given per month for skin care cleansers, and that more pharmacists trust Cetaphil over other brands to deliver results their patients want.

Cetaphil products are clinically shown to enhance therapeutic outcomes when used in combination with prescription skin-care regimens. The Cetaphil cleansing portfolio includes seven custom-formulated products to deliver cleansing benefits without irritation: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Daily Facial Cleanser, DermaControl Oil Control Foam Wash, RestoraDerm Eczema Calming Wash, Gentle Cleansing Bar, Gentle Cleansing Antibacterial Bar and Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths.

More than 65 years ago, a pharmacist created the first Cetaphil product – a gentle, yet-powerful formula that would clean without stripping and moisturize without clogging.
