BioPlus joins NASP as silver founding member

The National Association of Specialty Pharmacy on Wednesday announced that BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy has joined the association as a silver founding member.

"BioPlus is thrilled to step up as a founding member of NASP," Stephen Vogt, president and CEO of BioPlus, said. "For more than a quarter-century our specialty pharmacy has been a pioneer in innovative pharmaceutical care for patients with complex or chronic diseases. Seeing that the goals of NASP dovetail so well with ours, made a partnership between us a clear and easy choice."

BioPlus joins 71 founding and corporate members of NASP, which represents all stakeholders in the industry, including specialty pharmacies, pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers, institutional pharmacies, group purchasing organizations, distributors, managed care organizations and others.

"The nation's leading specialty pharmacies continue to join and support NASP, the only national organization for all stakeholders in the industry," NASP Chief Operating Officer Robert Fulcher said. "We are especially pleased that an innovative specialty pharmacy like BioPlus has chosen to become one of our founding members."

BioPlus provides specialty pharmacy services for hepatitis C, multiple sclerosis, cancer, bleeding disorders and other complex or chronic conditions.
