PrescribeWellness recently expanded its support team with the addition of new employees, including Hesham Elbarmawi.

PrescribeWellness offers software solutions that strengthen the role pharmacists have in providing preventive health care services. It is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America and is expected to have more than 10,000 independent community pharmacy clients by end of next year.

“We are excited about Hesham joining the PrescribeWellness team,” PrescribeWellness President and CEO Al Babbington said. “We are thrilled to be able to bring his experience in client services and operations to PrescribeWellness.”

Elbarmawi has been named the director of the company's client support department and will be responsible for leading the team in its efforts to encourage the use of PrescribeWellness' solutions and enhance its ability to meet the needs of its customers.

Elbarmawi was previously tasked with overseeing the technical support department of retail pharmacy software and hardware at Cerner. Among the responsibilities he was in charge of were client satisfaction and customer care. Before that, he led customer service operations for Gerber Technology and managed projects for UST Global.

Elbarmawi said he is thrilled to become a part of PrescribeWellness.

“Pharmacists hold a very important role within the community, and by utilizing the PrescribeWellness solutions they are actively managing their patients’ healthcare needs,” Elbarmawi said. “It is important for me to make sure that our pharmacists have everything in their power to successfully lead this charge in improving the health of their patients.”
