The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals recently announced that it will be entering a collaborative effort with the United Networks of America (UNA).

UNA is among the largest nationwide providers of value-added managed care products and services.

UNA Rx Card, which is the largest prescription assistance card provider in the United States, has promised to give $1 million toward the funding of growth and development programs that will help 170 member hospitals supported by the charity across North America that will deliver critical treatments, services and charitable care for children who are injured and sick.

President and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, John Lauck, expressed his excitement in teaming up with UNA to offer the organization's hospitals the much-needed support they require. He went on to say that UNA recognizes the intricacies of the health care system and how much the organization desires to simplify the system for families in need.

Ryan Jumonville, chairman of UNA, agreed that UNA’s goals mirror that of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and through the collaboration both organizations will be able to save the lives of children.
