FMCNA dialysis division becomes Fresenius Kidney Care

Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA) last week announced the new name for its dialysis division.

The name change to Fresenius Kidney Care reflects the company's consumer-friendly health care services for kidney patients.

“We created this name to better communicate our approach to helping people with kidney disease thrive and continue doing the things that matter most to them,” FMCNA EVP and Fresenius Kidney Care President William Valle said. “We do this by providing high-quality, personalized care, support and resources to help people lead more meaningful and fulfilled lives.”

Fresenius Kidney Care has also launched a website at www.freseniuskidneycare.com. To facilitate communication via social media, the company has also debuted Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts. Its sites provide educational and inspiring content, from nutritional guidance to tailored information, for patients living with kidney disease.

“While Fresenius Kidney Care is the new name of our dialysis division, our culture of innovation and the high-quality clinical care we’ve provided to people with kidney disease for decades remains the same,” Valle said. “Our highly trained and skilled teams not only care for our patients’ physical needs, they also empower them to thrive on and live their healthiest, fullest lives possible.”
