Hanson appointed to HIMSS Health Business Solution Committee

Change Healthcare recently announced that SVP and General Manager Stuart Hanson had been appointed to the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Health Business Solution Committee for a two-year term that will commence in July.

"Change Healthcare is continually striving to bring more value to our clients' revenue cycle and financial administration functions," Hanson said. "The rise of consumerism in health care is testing the agility of many of our client organizations as they all strive to manage the complex implications of increased patient financial responsibility and growing demand for improved patient and member engagement. HIMSS has helped foster an industry neutral dialogue to help design a framework for organizations like Change Healthcare to continue to innovate towards solving these challenges. I am honored to serve on this committee."

Hanson previously chaired the HIMSS Revenue Cycle Improvement Task Force. His experience of building health care billing and payments solutions at Change Healthcare and other organizations will be an asset to the Health Business Solution Committee as it works to identify and promote financial and administrative systems. More than 7,000 volunteers work with HIMSS in various roles to improve health care services with IT solutions.
