Kmart Pharmacy has added Medicare Part D and its members can now use Kmart Pharmacy for their pharmaceutical needs in 2017 as their preferred provider.
Members of Medicare Part D can now benefit from massive savings, including copays of $1, when they get their prescriptions filled at a Kmart Pharmacy.
"Kmart Pharmacy is central to Sears Holdings' health and wellness strategy, which expands beyond prescription services to provide both treatment and preventive care," Kmart Pharmacy President Phil Keough said. "We are thrilled to offer the added benefit of being a preferred pharmacy and the ability to offer low copays to customers enrolled in Medicare Part D plans that offer preferred cost sharing. Kmart Pharmacy is well positioned through our pharmacists and techs to help create better outcomes for our pharmacy members and payor partners by driving medication adherence and persistency via face-to-face counseling and intervention."
To go along with the savings, Medicare Part D members can also receive personalized care and advice from a team of expert pharmacists. These pharmacists deliver care and advice that go beyond counter service and include advice on everything ranging from coverage on prescriptions to medications available over-the-counter.
