Former Walmart executive joins Amgen Board of Directors

Charles Holley Jr. has joined the Amgen Board of Directors as a member of the Audit Committee and the Corporate Responsibility and Compliance Committee. 
Holley has extensive experience in the management of organizations, as he served in multiple leadership positions with Walmart from 1994-2002.
From 2003-05 he served as senior vice president and controller of Walmart, and from 2005-06 he was the senior vice president. Holley was the executive vice president, finance and treasurer of Walmart from 2007-10, and then executive vice president and chief financial officer to Walmart Stores Inc. from 2010-15.
Before his time with Walmart, Holley spent over a decade with Ernst & Young LLP and with Tandy Corp. 
Holley is on the Dean's Advisory Board for the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, as well as being involved with the University of Texas President's Development Board. Holley is also an independent senior advisor with Deloitte LLP.
Holley joins a team of 14 other Amgen directors.
