Synergy Pharmacy Services recently received its Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board accreditation, which classifies it as a company that follows the highest quality and safety standards in the industry.
Synergy had to undergo a multiple step process to attain the accreditation, including on-site inspections, documentation of written policies and analysis of its procedures.
"We are honored by this accreditation. It confirms our dedication to protecting our patients by practicing safe, high-quality personalized solutions that address patient's medical needs," Synergy Chief Operations Officer Micahel Palso said.
Synergy has existed since 2010, and they have an emphasis on pain management through the provision of compounding specialty drugs and retail services.
The Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board is a not-for-profit corporation that is made up of eight national pharmacy organizations. It's the board's goal to create national standards to prescriptions that are written by a number of medical professionals, including physicians and other prescribers.
