Pharmabox Automated Pharmacy arrives in Florida

Pharmabox, Inc., developer of The Pharmabox Automated Pharmacy, the world's first fully automated retail store containing the top selling brands in the nation, announced on Thursday that the first systems have arrived in Florida.

The Pharmabox Automated Pharmacy carries over 140 of the top selling merchandise typically found in a Target, Rite-Aid, Osco, CVS, Sav-on or Walgreens, including cold and allergy medicines, stomach and digestive products, men's and women's personal health items, pediatric medicines, beverages, suntan lotions, contraceptives, batteries and more.

The Pharmabox takes the best of a retail pharmacy and puts it into a self-service kiosk that can be located virtually anywhere, 24-hours a day.

"We are very excited that these brand new units are in Florida," Alejandro Rodriguez, founder and CEO of Pharmabox, said. "This is where our corporate headquarters are located, and we are proud to have these amazing systems in our own neighborhoods, where they will provide multiple benefits to the people of South Florida."

Future Pharmabox locations may include airports, train and bus stations, universities, business centers, malls, senior centers and other areas where it is not possible or convenient to travel to a retail location.

"People love using Pharmabox," Rodriguez said. "They can pick up what they need, quickly, conveniently and privately. Once you try it, you'll be hooked!"
