ARxIUM products recognized as leaders in pharmacy automation

ARxIUM was named a two-category leader in a 2015 report by independent health care research firm KLAS, which ranks the year's top-performing medical equipment.

The "2015 Best in KLAS: Medical Equipment & Infrastructure" report used data gathered from surveys and interviews with health care providers and administrators around the United States and Canada.

ARxIUM's fully automated IV compounding system known as RIVA was chosen as the category leader for IV robots in pharmacy automation for the third year in a row.

Hospital pharmacies use RIVA to automatically prepare IV syringes and bags. RIVA has also been acknowledged in past KLAS studies, such as in its 2014 study about IV robots and workflow management system where KLAS gave RIVA the highest rankings in terms of overall performance and customer satisfaction.

ARxIUM's solid oral medication pouch packaging system, called "FastPak," was recognized as category leader for high-volume unit dose packaging in pharmacy automation. The system provides total automation of oral solid medications and allows for unlimited formulary capabilities.

“The latest KLAS rankings prove that ARxIUM is developing and providing our retail, long-term care and hospital pharmacy customers with unmatched automated technology that is meeting or exceeding expectations,” ARxIUM President and CEO Niels Erik Hansen said.“Our automated systems and consulting capabilities help ensure patient safety, increase productivity and generate substantial savings for pharmacists across the world."
