A.T. Kearney and the Outreach and Business Development Working Group of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Retail Advisory Board (RAB) revealed their study Tuesday on the digital marketing campaigns of retailers, CPG manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.
The 2015 Winning with Digital Marketing Report evaluates five different aspects of digital marketing and includes interviews with CEO executives from various retailer pharmaceutical companies. In addition, the study reveals an upward trend of marketing talent that has veered away from traditional corporate settings and instead moved toward smaller, entrepreneurial start-up companies.
NACDS' key findings of the 2015 “Winning with Digital Marketing” included the top five digital marketing goals among businesses, social media platform usage percentages and strategies for digital marketing performance. NSCDS found that Facebook is used by 73 percent of retailers compared to the significantly lower 48 percent of CPG manufacturers.
