Change Healthcare's True View platform enhances health care shopping experience

Software and technology provider Change Healthcare recently launched its new True View health care services shopping platform aimed at creating a better consumer experience.

True View will enable Change Healthcare consumers to make more informed health-related decisions as the platform features the ability to compare costs of prescription and health services based on factors such as plan or location, provides messages alerting users of savings opportunities, and includes information on how to obtain high-quality and affordable health care.

"We have always been dedicated to helping individuals find health care savings in a meaningful and easy way," Change Healthcare Engagement Solutions EVP Doug Ghertner said. "With these visual and functional platform enhancements, users will have a smarter, simpler inside look at how much their health care costs, allowing them to find ways to save on the prescriptions and medical services they need. In addition to savings, the True View also promotes wellness initiatives and offers educational content on health insurance basics as well as information on health providers.
