The Mississippi Board of Pharmacy is seeking a new Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) Compliance Director. This role involves overseeing PBM compliance, policy development, and administrative actions as directed by legislative authority. The responsibilities are in accordance with the MS Pharmacy Benefit Prompt Pay Act, the Pharmacy Benefit Audit Integrity Act, and other relevant state and federal laws.

The position will serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on PBM matters. It is based in Jackson, Mississippi.

Preferred qualifications for pharmacist candidates include state licensure as a pharmacist with five years of experience. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of the PBM landscape and related experience.

For non-pharmacist candidates, a bachelor's degree with eight years of experience, including five years in a supervisory role, is typically required. An advanced degree may substitute for some years of experience or supervisory experience. Experience related to pharmacy or PBM is preferred.
