IPC chooses Retail Management Solutions as POS vendor

Retail Management Solutions (RMS) last week announced that the Independent Pharmacy Cooperative (IPC), a national community pharmacy purchasing organization, has selected it as an approved point-of-sale (POS) vendor.

“We are very excited about this new arrangement with IPC and to be the approved POS vendor for the largest pharmacy buying group in the U.S.,” RMS vice president of sales and marketing Mike Gross said. “We have found that IPC’s core values align very closely with ours, focusing products and solutions on making independent pharmacies more profitable, and it’s in that spirit that we welcome this new partnership.”

Through the agreement, more than 4,500 IPC member pharmacies have immediate access to multiple improved abilities, including workflow completion and cash management. In addition, it will provide customer loyalty that will increase customer growth, store efficiency and improve profitability while receiving purchase discounts on RMS’s pharmacy POS solutions.
