Aesynt launches registry for IV technology
The registry, the first of its kind within the IV automation space, delivers the industry and health care organizations an analytics tool that uses large data sets to improve the value of automation technology and better patient care.
“As more hospitals and health systems are now looking to insource and automate their IV compounding processes, REINVENT can help these organizations see the benefit of IV automation and help them adopt and utilize the technology for the benefit of patients,” Aesynt's senior executive pharmacy consultant of IV Automation John Barickman said.
Through leveraging the aggregated data collected from Aesynt’s IV station, participants are able to analyze current industry trends, benchmark measures for process improvement, and innovate within the IV compounding space.
“REINVENT changes how hospitals and health systems think about IV pharmacy, driving innovation for improved outcomes for both patients and healthcare organizations”, Doug Descalzi, senior vice president and general manager of IV Solutions at Aesyn, said.
The first subset of data will be available this year.
