Lifecare Pharmacy acquires Reuss Pharmacies

Generational Equity announced yesterday that its client, Reuss Pharmacies Inc., was acquired by Lifecare Pharmacy.

The acquisition closed on April 1.

Managing Director Michael Goss and Vice President Julie Sandoval led the Generational Equity deal team that counseled Reuss on the transaction.

“This was a great company to represent; both the sellers and the buyers were a good fit,” Sandoval said.

Reuss Pharmacies Inc., headquartered in Cuero, Texas, is a successful and well-known community pharmacy and retailer of durable medical equipment. Reuss provides an assortment of retail items spanning five categories comprised of Rx-prescriptions, gifts, durable medical equipment, home healthcare products and UPS shipping services.

Lifecare Pharmacy is a local retail and compounding pharmacy located in San Antonio, Texas. Lifecare offers similar services to Reuss and plans to maintain the successful, caring brand that both parties have created.
