HTMS to expand health-care management consulting services
This increasing demand can be attributed to payers and providers taking on additional medical risks.
"Payer-provider collaboration is increasingly necessary, and we want to provide the best possible resources to help our customers excel," Bob Hoover, consulting director for HTMS, said. "The reality is that this method of collaboration is still new to the health care industry, and we have the opportunity to not only enable it, but be recognized as the leader in the care-management consulting space."
The company will have an exhibition at the America's Health Insurance Plans' Institute 2015 conference Wednesday-Friday in Nashville, where Hoover and Felizitas Devine, senior manager of clinical consulting, will make presentations on care management and its transformation.
"With the correct strategies and services in place, these organizations can better connect with members and facilitate healthy behavior change," David Gallegos, senior vice president of system process and modernization for HTMS, said.
