Express Scripts elects new board member

Tim Wentworth was recently elected to the board of directors of Express Scripts Holding Company.

Wentworth has been the president of Express Scripts since 2014 and has management responsibility for all facets of the company's core business. Wentworth reports to Express Scripts' Chairman and CEO George Paz.

"We are pleased to welcome Tim to the Express Scripts board of directors, and appreciate the combination of strategic leadership unique insights and industry expertise he brings to our board," Paz said. "Tim and I have worked closely together to develop and execute a long-term growth strategy that leverages our core strengths, establishes new innovative solutions, and makes medicine affordable and accessible for payers and patients."

Before becoming president, Wentworth was the senior vice president, and president of sales and account management. In addition to sales and account management, he is currently responsible for information technology operations, research, new solutions, home delivery, specialty pharmacies and supply chain management.

Wentworth joined Express Scripts after it merged with Medco Health Solutions, Inc. in April 2012.
