Plastic manufacturer Technimark recently launched its new medical division, Technimark Healthcare.
The new division will leverage Technimark's most recent acquisition, injection-molded components manufacturer Ci Medical Technologies. It will operate out of 14 different manufacturing facilities worldwide, including ones in Germany, China, Mexico and Asheboro, North Carolina, where Technimark is based. Items that will be manufactured include insulin pumps, surgical tools and other specialized medical devices.
“We are proud to launch Technimark Healthcare and add Ci Medical’s track record and expertise to our health care offering,” Technimark CEO Brad Wellington said. “In the weeks following the acquisition, we have built a dedicated health care team that is already providing more value to customers by combining the strengths of Technimark and Ci Medical.
