CVS Pharmacies now open in Washington Target stores

CVS Health announced the opening this week of CVS Pharmacies in Washington Target stores.

The rebranded pharmacies are located in 30 Target stores. Including the freestanding CVS Pharmacy stores, there are now 37 CVS Pharmacies in Washington State.

"We're excited to introduce our integrated pharmacy services and health care expertise to Target guests in Washington," CVS Pharmacy SVP, Retail Field Operations, Hanley Wheeler said. "Our pharmacy care and clinic offerings, along with our innovative digital tools, will offer consumers expanded wellness options and increased access to care. We look forward to welcoming Target guests as our pharmacy patients."

The CVS Pharmacies in Olympia, Seattle, Spokane and Tacoma will offer Maintenance Choice, Pharmacy Advisor and Specialty Connect. These programs give CVS Caremark members the opportunity to select mail service or in-store prescription service, face-to-face prescription counseling and the ability to pick up specialty prescriptions in-store. The ExtraCare loyalty program and ExtraCare Pharmacy & Health Rewards programs will also be available at the Target locations.

"As we roll out the new CVS Pharmacy in Target stores, we are working closely with patients to make their transition to our services and programs as simple and seamless as possible," Wheeler said.
