CVS Health recently announced the opening of its first CVS Pharmacy locations in Target stores across Colorado.
The pharmacies are located in Target stores in metropolitan areas, which include Denver, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins and are being run as a store-within-a-store.
"We're excited to introduce our integrated pharmacy services and health care expertise to Target guests in Colorado," Tony Caskey, Area VP for CVS Pharmacy, said. "Our pharmacy care offerings, along with our innovative digital tools, will offer consumers expanded wellness options and increased access to care. We look forward to welcoming Target guests as our pharmacy patients."
The 39 CVS Pharmacy locations are the first in Colorado, and are introducing Target guests to its wide variety of services. Soon, the pharmacies will offer pharmacy care and medication management services that are available at the traditional CVS locations.
Caskey added, "As we roll out the new CVS Pharmacy in Target locations, we are working closely with patients to make their transition to our services and programs as simple and seamless as possible."
