The American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) is accepting applications for its 2017 ASHP Executive Residency in Association Leadership and Management.
The 12-month residency program was created for graduates of pharmacy colleges who want to pursue a career in association management. The program gives its participants hands-on training from ASHP executives in all aspects of association leadership and management that are non-profit.
“For nearly 50 years, the ASHP Executive Residency has been a crown jewel in training future pharmacist leaders and association executives,” ASHP Chief Operating Officer Kasey Thompson said. “The residency is a wonderful and unique opportunity for individuals aspiring to become association leaders.”
Since the founding of the ASHP Executive Residency in 1968, program graduates have gone on to achieve positions in leadership roles in many different arenas, including associations, government, corporations, academia and philanthropy.
The program is at the ASHP Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.
