Prime Therapeutics names Drakulich chief sales officer

Prime Therapeutics LLC, a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) with more than 22 million customers across the nation, recently named John Drakulich as its new chief sales officer.
Drakulich, who was hired to lead sales planning and execution, will focus on expanding the company’s sales opportunities. He brings more than 28 years of experience to the company, having spent his career in PBM sales and market development. This includes four years as vice president of sales and market development at Prime back in 1997-2000. Drakulich’s most recent employment came at OptumRx where he was senior vice president of business development.
“John’s demonstrated success in the PBM industry is a fantastic fit for the growth potential of Prime,” Cameron Olig, Prime’s senior vice president of commercial markets and sales, said. “John’s passion and expertise will be incredible assets to our organization, adding value to our current employer and health plan sales teams and helping us explore and enter new markets. He will play a key role in helping Prime deliver on superior medical and pharmacy drug management, patient-centered specialty care, and Prime’s new alliance with Walgreens.”
Drakulich earned a bachelor of science from the University of Colorado, Denver, and a Professional Academy for Healthcare Management designation from the Academy for Healthcare Management.
