MiMedx Group Inc. has filed lawsuits against four former sales employees for alleged breaches of contractual and common law obligations.
"As announced in our press release of Dec. 15, 2016, we terminated the employment of and filed lawsuits against two sales employees, Jess Kruchoski and Luke Tornquist, for breaches of common law and contractual obligations to MiMedx,” Chairman and CEO Parker H. "Pete" Petit said. “Through further investigation, the company has determined that two additional sales employees engaged in acts warranting termination of employment as well as other actions.”
After looking into the matter, MiMedx filed lawsuits against Michael Fox and Harold Purdy. The company also disciplined other sales employees who were allegedly associated with these untoward sales schemes.
“The company took employment actions with various other employees based on the degree of transgression and the openness and willingness of these employees to cooperate in the company's investigation,” President and Chief Operations Officer Bill Taylor said. “No legal actions have been taken with individuals who have cooperated and have been truthful with the company during the investigation."
MiMedx is a regenerative medicine company developing products for the wound care, surgical, orthopedic, spine, sports medicine, ophthalmic and dental sectors of health care.
