Medical business management service provider Medac Inc. has completed a Service Organization Control 2 certification, recognizing that Medac has met the requirements
applicable to the Trust Services Principles and Criteria.
Medac also completed
a third-part assessment of controls and procedures required by the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
“The SOC 2 Type 2 process is an extensive effort toward security and
proper controls and ensures that Medac is cyber secure,” Bellinger Moody,
Medac’s president, said in a news release. “It provides an outside validation
for our clients, vendors and board of directors that we are committed to
excellence as we continue to grow.”
