Walgreens, Piedmont Healthcare to open walk-in clinic services
Piedmont and Walgreens will focus on providing patients with quality, satisfaction and care, all while providing economical services.
"Our goal is simple: to provide same-day access to high quality care close to home," Piedmont Healthcare CEO Kevin Brown said.
The clinics are slated to be implemented in August and will be known as Piedmont QuickCare at Walgreens.
"As we continue to look for ways to provide more convenient access and enhanced care coordination for our patients, forming collaborative relationships with establish community healthcare providers, like Piedmont, if key," Walgreens Healthcare Clinics Chief Medical Officer Dr. Pat Carroll said.
Walgreens and Piedmont have had a relationship since 2009, when Walgreens began running a pharmacy at the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Piedmont QuickCare at Walgreens will be open for business seven days a week, and most of its locations and will allow for walk-ins.
