CVS Health's Advanced Care Scripts (ACS) has earned accreditation in Specialty Pharmacy from URAC, the leader in health care accreditation, certification and overall measurement.

"Through our programs and services at ACS, we provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and treatment support for patients taking specialty medications to help improve patient outcomes," CVS Specialty Executive Vice President Alan Lotvin said.

ACS distributes specialty medications to customers who suffer from more complicated health issues, such as multiple sclerosis, hemophilia and cancer, offering affordable options for each customer and the type of support and direction needed.

"ACS shows a dedication to patient education and safety through the recognition of quality it received with URAC's independent accreditation," URAC President and CEO Kylanne Green said.
