Allergan will sponsor the Alzheimer's Foundation of America's (AFA) "15th Anniversary National Educating America Tour” that honors AFA’s 15 years of Alzheimer’s education.

"We are excited to be a gold sponsor of the 15th Anniversary Educating America Tour," Will Kane, senior vice president marketing at Allergan, said in a statement. "As a leader in this space, Allergan is committed to the development of treatments for Alzheimer's disease and to education about the disease, which is why this partnership is so important to us."

The tour will involve educational conferences that give individuals a chance to learn from dementia and caregiver experts. It will make stops in Las Vegas; West Palm Beach, Florida; Birmingham, Alabama; New York City; Philadelphia; Franklin, Tennessee; Durham, North Carolina; Washington, D.C.; Melville, New York; Chicago; and Boston.

"Our organization was founded by a caregiver to be the resource his family did not have when dementia entered their lives," AFA President and CEO Dr. Charles Fuschillo Jr. said. "In this tour, we hope to educate thousands of people across the country, and it is only with the help of generous sponsors like Allergan that we are able to do that."
