Good Day Pharmacy executive participates in steering committee

Good Day Pharmacy Chief Operatons Office Vicki Einhellig took part in the National Community Pharmacists Association's (NCPA) Steering Committee forum April 25-26.

Good Day Pharmacy is an independent company that is family-owned and part of the Health Mart umbrella in Colorado. There are 140 Colorado residents employed by the company. Einhellig joined over 100 other pharmacy experts to discuss new ways to assist patients and pharmacists in the future.

"Vicki showed that commitment by attending and planning proposals will strengthen the future of independent community pharmacies during the NCPA's Steering Committeee Forum," NCPA President DeAnn Mullins said.

The NCPA is made up of seven committees and one task force which all come together to improve pharmacy operations and the experiences that patients have. The committees are technology; compounding; long-term care; management; state legislation and regulatory affairs; national legislation and government affairs; and emerging models.
