With its identity coined by the founding optometrist’s own child, RevolutionEYES’ “Little Eyes” recently opened in Carmel, Indiana, launching a pediatric eye care clinic caring for youngsters between 6 months and 13 years old.

The unique specialty practice opened at 1372 S. Rangeline Road, Carmel, where Drs. Jeremy Ciano, Katherine Schuetz and Hannah Downey tend to Indiana children’s vision needs. It was Dr. Ciano’s 4-year-old son Alex who conceived of the name.

“I am going to open up an eye doctor office that is for kids only, with little glasses, and little exam machines, and I am going to call it ‘Little Eyes,’” Alex Ciano said to his dad on the way home from pre-school one day.

Now, current and new patients have expanded access to pediatric vision care. Ciano noted that kids can “choose from a wide selection of glasses” including product warranties. In addition, children’s particular vision needs are addressed.

“When a child’s vision issues are attended to, such as slowing the progression of nearsightedness with myopia control, they perform better academically and while engaging in sports and extracurricular activities,” Ciano said.

The owners of "Little Eyes" and its parent company, RevolutionEYES, provide comprehensive vision services including complete eye exams, contact lenses and glasses; myopia control; ocular disease management; eye infection treatment, and sports and specialty eyewear.
