The Cannabis Regulatory Agency announced on July 24 that administrative formal complaints and disciplinary actions taken against adult-use and medical cannabis licensees in June are now available for review in the agency’s June 2026 Disciplinary Action Report.
According to the announcement, multiple businesses across Michigan faced disciplinary measures for a range of violations. In Detroit, Detroit Herbal Center, LLC and its dba High Club Cannabis were cited for general operational issues, METRC non-compliance, surveillance and security lapses, as well as packaging and advertising violations. Grow Rite Medical Supplies, LLC dba Uncle J's Joints was also disciplined for METRC non-compliance along with sampling and testing concerns.
Other municipalities with licensees facing action include Jackson—where JRMI27, LLC was cited for failure to report material changes in physical location or operations as well as non-compliant handling and production—and Kalamazoo, where Refine Michigan Co. dba The Refinery Kalamazoo received a citation for METRC non-compliance. Additional actions were taken against businesses in Escanaba, Negaunee, Crystal Falls, Warren, Three Rivers, Marshall, Adrian, Bay City, Cold Water, New Buffalo, Inkster, Burton, Roseville, Lake Orion, Grand Rapids (Green Skies - Healing Tree), Hazel Park (Trucenta), and Battle Creek (Trucenta).
The agency stated that the full list of disciplinary actions is accessible through its public-facing database. "To view disciplinary documents: Click the 'Verify a Cannabis Business License in our Database' button on the front page of the CRA website. On the landing page determine the type of license – adult-use or medical – and click the appropriate link. Search for the business and then click the licensee’s link to see their landing page in the CRA database; all publicly available disciplinary documents will be linked at the bottom of the record," according to instructions provided by the agency.
Members of the public are encouraged to submit complaints online using an updated complaint submission process described on their website. The Citizens’ Guide to Filing a Complaint is also available online.
