PBMI hires new VP of research and education

The Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI), a national organization committed to research and education of pharmacy benefit management, said on Monday that it has hired Sharon Glave Frazee to be its new vice president of research and education.

"We are very excited to add Sharon Frazee to our team," Jane Lutz, PBMI's executive director, said. "Sharon's depth of experience in the PBM industry and leadership in the area of research and analytics will help us achieve our goal of expanding our research agenda in the pharmacy management industry."

In Frazee’s new role of vice president of research and education, she will be in charge of the development and management of all PBMI educational and research efforts.

Before she joined PBMI, Frazee was the vice president of research and analytics for Express Scripts, where her responsibilities included leading research strategy and execution for one of the biggest pharmacy-benefit managers in the U.S.

Frazee also has held leadership positions in economic and health outcomes research, pilot and program design and evaluation, survey design, analytics and research consulting advanced analytics, and the development of predictive models at Walgreens, LabCorp and Landacorp. Prior to joining the private sector, She taught at North Carolina State University and supplied evaluation research for different local and state government agencies.
