Nurtur receives NCQA accreditation
Nurtur’s wellness services received a three-year accreditation.
“This accomplishment serves as both validation of the exceptional coaching provided by our team of clinical specialists on a daily basis as well as confirmation of Nurtur's ongoing commitment to quality," Nurtur Chief Health Officer Jeremy Corbett said.
The NCQA accreditation is given to organizations with great programs that meet or exceed NCQA's rigorous standards that were created to encourage organizations to improve program quality and permit health plans and employers to make knowledgeable assessments.
The Wellness and Health Promotion Accreditation evaluates the areas of health promotion, which includes how wellness programs are implemented, how services are provided to help individuals make healthy choices, and how sensitive health information is safeguarded.
"I congratulate Nurtur Health, Inc. for distinguishing itself by earning Wellness & Health Promotion Accreditation," NCQA President Margaret O'Kane said. "This achievement signals to employers that Nurtur Health, Inc. is organized and ready to improve workforce health. Savvy employers know that the health and well-being of their workforce is a critical asset."
