Integra´s newest automation tool streamlines pharmacy processes

Integra´s most recent version of its business automation tool, Logix, allows pharmacies to remove repetitive and time-consuming procedures through the automation of faxing and fax follow-up and the auto population of forms or programming business rules.

“The success of Logix is defined by the processes you apply it to,” Logix Support Manager Dustin Harrell said. “Take, for instance, fax automation. At first look, fax handling seems to be a simple, standard process. Now think about all the clicks that go into handling refill requests. Pharmacies are doing it 100 times per day multiplied by 10-20 initial clicks, plus follow-ups, plus resends. Now we are talking hours to do what, on the surface, looks like a very simple process.”

The Logix system ensures that all faxes are routed correctly, therefore reducing training time and potential errors. In addition, Logix can handle business rules and institutional knowledge. Facility or physician requests for communication protocol can be programmed directly into Logix.

The Logix tool system also can be customized for each pharmacy and includes an easy, off-site implementation. Logix is supported by Integra’s support team.
