TraceLink offers discounted drug tracking software
The program will help health care organizations meet new Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) requirements, which are part of Congress' plan to restructure federal requirements for supplying and distributing prescription drugs in the U.S.
"Time is running out for U.S. dispensers, all of whom face new DSCSA compliance requirements on July 1, and TraceLink is focused on making sure that all pharmacists have an easy-to-use DSCSA compliance solution that won't impact the time they spend providing patients with valuable health care advice," Shabbir Dahod, president and CEO of TraceLink, said.
From now through June 30, Product Track will be available at the monthly subscription rate of $150 or an annual subscription rate of $1,500 for each dispensing location that receives prescription drug shipments from suppliers. On July 1, Standard Product Track subscription rates of $250 a month and $2,500 annually will take effect.
"More leading drug suppliers, including 16 of the top-20 global pharmaceutical companies, use TraceLink software than all of our competitors combined, and our Dispenser DSCSA Program now provides pharmacies with a similar set of tools,” Dahod said. “Furthermore, we're demonstrating our commitment to make it as easy as possible for any dispenser to prepare for the July 1 deadline by offering special promotional pricing and a 30-day price protection guarantee. No other software provider is able to offer the same value to dispensers."
