Recipharm names sales director for France

Recipharm, a Sweden-based contract development and manufacturing organization, said Monday that Amine Tahiri is joining its development services sales team as sales director for France.

Tahiri’s appointment takes effect Wednesday and is part of Recipharm’s effort to increase the volume of its business and revenues in European markets.

"I am very happy to welcome such a talent in the sales organization,” Recipharm Senior Sales Director of Development Services Torkel Gren said. “Amine will help in to increase our development business in France. We are looking forward to building new relationships with French companies in need of qualified pharmaceutical product development services.”

Tahiri has more than 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Tahiri was most recently the commercial manager at Recipharm Fontaine. He has also held managerial positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Laboratories Fournier and Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Tahiri has a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Pharmacy in Montpellier and holds an MBA from Dijon Business School.

Recipharm has approximately 2,200 employees. The company offers manufacturing services of pharmaceuticals in various dosage forms, production of clinical trial material  and pharmaceutical product development.
