NACDS Foundation appoints new research programs director
Roszak has been with NACDS since November 2014 in its pharmacy care and patient advocacy department.
In her new role with the foundation, she is responsible for leading the expansion of its research opportunities by coming up with research concepts, identifying priorities, and helping to develop and manage research requests for proposals and grant research projects in collaboration with the foundations Research Advisory Working Group.
“We’re pleased to welcome Sara into this new role with the NACDS Foundation,” NACDS Foundation President Kathleen Jaeger said. “Sara has demonstrated leadership in developing innovative research initiatives and securing grant funding. That experience will be invaluable as she moves over to the Foundation and helps to position it as a leader in advancing patient health through medication management and collaborative care.”
In addition to having journalism and political science degrees from the University of Florida, Roszak holds a dual masters degree in international affairs and public health from George Washington University.
She was honored with the American Public Health Association's Jay S. Drotman Memorial Award this month for helping advance public health. The award is given to students or health workers under 30 who have creatively and positively challenged traditional public health or practice.
