Candidates announced for APhA-APPM and APhA-APRS elections

The candidates for the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management (APhA-APPM) and the Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science (APhA-APRS) election have been announced.

The APhA-APPM Executive Committee Member-at-Large Pair One nominees are David Barnes and Larry Selkow, Pair Two consists of Amber Bynum and Ann McManis, and Pair Three is Patricia Fabel and Wendy Mobley-Bukstein. The New Practitioner Officer nominees are Stephanie Gernant and Rachael McCaleb. The President-elect nominee is Edward M. Bednarcyk and the Basic Sciences Section Chair-elect is Elvin T. Price. The Clinical Sciences Section Chair-elects are Adriane Irwin and Roger D. Lander. The Economic, Social and Administrative Sciences Section Chair-elects are Michelle A. Chui and Leticia R. Moczygemba and the Postgraduate Officer is Anthony Olsen.

Members of the APhA will begin voting on the appointments of the candidates on March 4. Voting closes on May 2 at noon. The results of the election will be announced in early July.

The candidates who are elected will be will begin their duties in March 2017 when they are installed at the 2017 APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition. More information about the candidates can be found online through the APhA.
