The first CVS Pharmacy presence in Oregon was announced this week by CVS Health.
The 18 rebranded CVS Pharmacy in Target locations include Albany,
Eugene, Medford, Salem and the Portland metropolitan area.
"We're excited to introduce our integrated pharmacy services and health care expertise to Target guests in Oregon," CVS Pharmacy Area VP Tony Caskey said. "Our pharmacy care and clinic offerings, along with our innovative digital tools, will offer consumers expanded wellness options and increased access to care. We look forward to welcoming Target guests as our pharmacy patients."
Oregon's CVS Caremark members will have access to the full suite of CVS Pharmacy services. Patients can use the CVS Pharmacy app and CVS.com to manage their medications. They can also take advantage of the ExtraCare loyalty and ExtraCare Pharmacy & Health Rewards programs.
In addition to the new CVS Pharmacy locations, the company donated $50,000 to Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland. Doernbecher offers a wide range of services to pediatric patients as well as education and training for pediatric specialists, pediatric research and community outreach.
"We are incredibly thankful to the CVS Pharmacy team for this generous gift that will provide hope and support to the patients and families of OHSU Doernbecher for many years to come," OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital Physician-in-Chief Dr. Dana Braner said.
