The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) last week announced the addition of 10 companies to the "Vision 2027" attraction.
This glimpse of the future of chain drug store retailing
will be available to all attendees during the 2016 NACDS Total Store Expo.
“Vision 2027 will be a must-see destination for retailers and suppliers in the NACDS Total Store Expo Exhibit Hall,” NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson said. “The NACDS Total Store Expo presents a remarkable transaction of ideas and Vision 2027 will be a tremendous part of that forward thinking at this year’s event.”
The exhibits in Vision 2027 include electronic article surveillance (EAS) and radio-frequency identification (RFID) solutions, mobile apps that give customers the ability to check out without standing in line and recommend products to their friends, and GSK's migraine simulator. "The Migraine Experience" provides an up close and personal glimpse of what sufferers experience during a migraine attack.
The total number of companies participating in Vision 2027 is now 14, with more expected to sign up before the Total Store Expo opens at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. The attraction will be open from Sunday, August 7 to Tuesday, August 9.
