RxIMPACT Vote promotes political participation
The programs are not aimed at persuading voters to vote for a particular candidate, but instead getting voters excited about being part of the election process.
NACDS RxIMPACT Votes does this with a flyer encouraging advocates of the program to be active on their social media accounts and inspire their contacts to vote through the posting of positive, personal messages, calling for their friends and associates to get involved in the process and to educate them about the candidates. The flyer contains sample social media messages, which include tweets, Instagram posts and ideas for post to put on Facebook. Many of these ideas include the hashtags #PharmacyVoter.
The program launched two #PharmacyVoter campaign ads during the past election cycle called “Momentum” and “Effective” this year, which have combined to reach over 229,000 views on YouTube.
The groundbreaking NACDS IMPACT program also received recognition in an article by CEO Update, which highlighted the program’s longevity and range.
