Central Rexall Drugs accepts access to UCM network

Central Rexall Drugs announced on Tuesday that it has accepted access to the United Compounding Management (UCM) High Performance Network.

The UCM High Performance Network is made up exclusively of compounding pharmacies that are independently certified by the UCM and that meet its difficult standards for quality, safety and business and marketing practices.

Central Rexall said that they are proud to be one of the few compounding pharmacies in the nation to meet the high standards required by the UCM groups.

Central Rexall will have a preferred status with selected pharmacy benefit managers, including Catamaran, after the completion of an on-site survey and a final acceptance in the UCM High Performance Network

In addition to access to the UCM High Performance Network, Central Rexall is accredited by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board.

Central Rexall believes these designation give customers more confidence in the excellence of their pharmacy operations.

These designations add to Central Rexall’s expansion as a compound medication supplier.
