NuFACTOR launches Nursing Notes blog

NuFACTOR Specialty Pharmacy last week announced the launch of Nursing Notes, an educational blog for professionals in the infusion nursing community.

The blog features posts by industry experts who provide information, education and reimbursement support to chronically ill patients and their health care providers.

"Nursing Notes is designed to empower those in the IG nursing community by offering timely information and educational content that facilitates professional development," Michelle Greer, senior vice president of sales at NuFACTOR, said. "Our staff writers and guest bloggers will cover topics that include intravenous and subcutaneous IG administration, dosage guidelines for various conditions, side effect strategies, industry news and patient care support."

The newest blog post, Pre-Visit/Visit Preparation: Vital Tasks for a Successful Infusion, features a 12-point checklist to help ensure a successful IVIG therapy administration.
